WHAT IS INCLUDED?

Psychological and Psycho-Educational evaluations:

•An intake session with client and/or parents/guardians (approximately 1 hour).

•All necessary testing sessions.

•A feedback session with client or parents/guardians to review written results and discuss recommendations (60-90 minutes).

I currently do not contract with insurance companies, but I can provide you with a Statement of Services that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that it is your responsibility to determine what your insurance offers in mental health coverage for non-network providers.

What about Insurance?

 There are many factors contributing to our current decision not to accept insurance. Beaufort Psychological Services will continue to work with insurance companies and hope this will be an available services in the future. For more information about why therapists don’t accept insurance, please refer to this article. We appreciate your understanding.

Individual Counseling – Youth and Adults  1 time $150 intake appointment  $125/hour thereafter

Individual Counseling or Therapy provides professional assistance in coping with personal problems, including emotional, behavioral, vocational, marital, educational, rehabilitation, and life-stage (e.g., retirement) problems. Individual counseling services include: Clinical interview (1 session) Regularly scheduled 50-minute appointments (frequency determined by individual needs and clinician recommendation) Counseling is offered in-person and via telehealth

Psychological Evaluation – Youth and Adults  $25 admin fee; $175/hour

Psychological Evaluation – Youth and Adults

A Psychological Evaluation is a mental health assessment where a professional evaluates a person’s psychological or mental health. The goal of a psychological evaluation is to identify the underlying causes for presenting concerns to help identify and inform a treatment plan. Psychological evaluations are utilized for a wide variety of reasons. Some examples include difficulty with attention and concentration, emotional concerns such as anxiety and depression, and trouble with anger management or interpersonal skills. Psychological evaluation services include: Clinical interview (1 session) Assessment administration and interpretation (minimum of 1 session based on individual assessment plan) Review of results and written report (1 session)

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy  1 time $150 intake appointment  $125/hour thereafter

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is a form of trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy specifically developed for reducing the power of traumatic memories. A trained therapist will guide you to think about a trauma while moving your eyes back and forth, left to right. Over time, this will help your brain reprocess the memories so that they no longer cause as much pain

EMDR therapy services include: History taking and treatment planning Preparation development resources & coping skills Assessment of target(s) Desensitization using Bilateral Stimulation Installation of new positive beliefs Clear body scan without disturbance Closure and mindfulness of any related material Examining the progress of the treatment Regularly scheduled 50-minute appointments (frequency determined by individual needs and clinician recommendation) EMDR therapy is offered in-person and via telehealth

Comprehensive Psycho-Educational Evaluation  $2500

Comprehensive Psycho-Educational Evaluation  

Psychoeducational Evaluation identifies factors that may have an impact on any aspect of an individual's learning. This assessment is used to determine the individual's learning profile. Psychoeducational evaluation services include: Clinical interview Formal assessments of cognitive abilities and assessment of individual academic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Cross-battery assessment and Cattell-Horn-Carol (CHC) theory interpretive technique with statement of strengths and weaknesses profile. As needed, based on individual assessment plan, specific diagnostic assessment regarding social-emotional, executive function, personality, learning, functional communication, and adaptive function. Review of results and written report with recommendations

Dyslexia Only Evaluation  $1000

Dyslexia Only Evaluation

Dyslexia evaluation services include: Comprehensive intelligence testing. Phonological processing, processing speed, retrieval speed, working memory, visual-motor skills testing. Academic achievement testing in basic reading, reading comprehension, reading fluency, and spelling. Written report with intervention recommendations.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) Only Evaluation $1200

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) Only Evaluation 

ADHD evaluation services include: Intelligence testing. Basic academic achievement screening. Behavior analysis via teacher and parent surveys. Memory and processing speed screenings. Assessment of executive functioning. Written report with intervention recommendations.
